Concert Program
The University of Dayton NHB had a very successful band camp from May 22-25, 2005. Dr. Scott Emmons from the University of Wisconsin/Milwaukee and Laura Joss from Baldwin Wallace University, director of the BWNHB, shared the conducting duties with Dr. Linda Hartley, director of the UDNHB. The highlights of the camp were performances by a brass quintet, a woodwind quintet and a clarinet quartet with percussion from the U.S. Air Force Band of Flight, stationed at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Following their hour long performance, the Air Force musicians gave master classes to the campers. In the evening at our closing concert they joined our NH Band and very happily played along with us, sight reading the music we had struggled with for three days!
