There are many instruments to choose from if playing in a Concert Band, Symphony Orchestra or Jazz Band. This page gives you a look at most of the instruments commonly found in those ensembles. As you look at each instrument, a short audio clip will play. The information following the instrument name is: the common key of the instrument, what clef it usually plays in, and the type of groups where you will see this instrument (C = Concert Band, M = Military Band, S = Symphony Orchestra, J = Jazz Band).
